Annotation:
This paper describes a survey taken by children and their parents. 1,211
final year kids of primary schools and all levels of secondary schools and their
parents filled out this questionnaire. After all of the results were concluded,
it showed that 16% percent of youngsters have participated in cyberbullying
using the internet and texting. A percent 23% of the children have been victims
of cyberbulling. Cyberbullying takes place mostly at home according to this
article. Children tend to react to the cyberbullying by just ignoring it or
begin to cyberbully another student. According to the study, parents who
recognize the cyberbullying either underestimate what is going on, or become
very strict and set social interaction standards between their children and
other people. This article will help me with my reasearch paper because it gives
me an in-depth look at the cyberbullying amongst schools. This article gives me
a great surve example about my topic, and even gives a small look at the
parents' reactions to cyberbullying.
